Installing a Radius Server on a Windows 2003 Server
(too old to reply)

We have been asked that we need to install a Remote Authentication Dial-In
User Service (RADIUS) Server for an wireless. We are wondering where would
be a good place to start to find out what server this needs to go on and how
to configure this server.

Any information would be helpful.

Sorry in advance for the cross-post.

Thanks,

What type of server should I install it on? Should it be placed on a
domain controller?

Its a lightweight service, and I think the MS documentation recommend
putting it on a DC, but you don't have to,
Do not install RRAS on a domain controller.
Use a dedicated server for it so you can optimize security (security configuraion
